I have visited NY on four occasions.
- It was out first stop before flying to England for a backpacking trip through Europe.
- Once after I sustained a workplace injury and needed time to recover I rode Amtrak up to Brooklyn.
- In 2018 I flew up again to coincide with my Uncle arriving for a visit with my father in NY.
- I also spent the night in NY after I had a missed flight in 2019 when trying to get to Guadeloupe for a sailing trip in the Caribbean.
During my first visit, I got to see Koreatown and eat authentic Korean BBQ, I visited Macy’s, and I rode the subway, visited parks by bicycle, walked on the beach, and went sailing.
