It’s now been two months and eight days since my mother, Sylvia, underwent a surgery on her shoulder to repair an unfortunate injury she sustained while delivering for Uber Eats.
Her recovery has been steadying these past few weeks. More and more I see her gradually regain the use of her right hand. Though she still cannot lift or hold much more than her phone for any extended period time.
Our prepared meals have all been spent and so I, at mother’s instruction, have been cooking various dishes for lunch and dinner.
