On Monday, mama had some of the breakfast zucchini casserole I had mistakenly attempted to prepare the other day. I woke up a bit late and opted for just Jell-O and some mint tea.
I made mama another cup of Macha tea in the afternoon after she took her medication.
Now that the Hydrocodone pills are all used up, we are on to the Tramadol which can be taken every 6 hours.
The Ibuprofen is also every 6 hours, so out daily schedule is a bit more organized now.

In the afternoon, I went to to Walmart to purchase some supplements that mama needs for her recovery from the surgery. I got two bottles of Arginine and Glutamate. We also need Hyaluronic Acid and Creatine, but I can’t quite afford that just yet. I should be getting $65 from the Sword x Staff game offer I did recently.

For dinner, I heated up some lasagna from one of the portioned frozen meals.
From the marked down old stock at Harris Teeter we had a bag of salad greens ($2), and from the discount rack at Walmart, a loaf of sourdough bread covered in sesame seeds ($0.95).
I mixed up a quarter stick of butter with powdered garlic and salt to taste and then spread it on the sourdough loaf after cutting it in half length-wise. I placed the bread in the oven for 10 minutes until it got crispy and lightly browned along the edges.

The lasagna took around an hour to fully cook, having been partially defrosted. The sesame seeds on the loaf of bread got toasted and gave off a wonderful aroma and altered the flavor profile I was expecting when I bit into the bread.
I’ll definitely buy this bread again if I see it on discount.
