What would you do if you won the lottery?
A lottery win would need to be fairly substantial to do much good. I would likely use the funds to buy a house back home in WA.
The wealth gap in WA is extreme. Most people I went to school with moved to other states for a better life.
It would need to be a small house. The average home goes for 600k-900k dollars.
I’ve been checking real estate prices since I returned from my trip home, and oh boy, there are so many multimillion-dollar houses in my hometown.
I rode by many of them while cycling around town as a child. I hadn’t the faintest idea back then how expensive WA was.
So, any lottery win would need to be substantial.
