North Hills is a mixed-use urban district in Raleigh, NC, widely recognized as the city’s Midtown. It serves as a central hub for upscale shopping, fine dining, and modern living, characterized by its pedestrian-friendly, open-air design.

My family recently went to the Regal Cinema in North Hills to see Amazons’ The Sheep Detectives.
It was a pleasant enough film, though perhaps not suitable for younger children.
Booking Issues
There was a mix up with our online booking and we never received a confirmation email, but were charged for the tickets. The phone number for the theater redirected to a national hotline which had a habit of hanging up on every menu item.
Several people on Reddit, including former staff, said the phones were intentionally disconnected.
Thankfully, the concession stand staff were able to re-issue out tickets. This experience has informed me never to book online with Regal. If I go again, I’ll get my tickets in person.
Lunch
We had lunch at the Five Guys restaurant outside the theater across from the Chick-fil-A. My mother ordered a Cheese Burger and fries which we split for lunch. The food tasted good, not too salty, I especially enjoyed the French fries which tasted slightly of vinegar. The bag was rather greasy though and fell apart quickly.

Exploring the District
I later returned to North Hills with my camera and spent a little over an hour exploring all the little shops in and around the district.
