I was last in France back in 2007 as part of a European backpacking trip with my father. We started the French-leg of the journey in Toulouse and then traveled by train up into the Pyrenees mountain range and then took a bus into Spain.
Later, after I got cold feet, we returned to France and rented a car. Papa and I visited several French castles in the Loire Valley, traveling northward until we reached the northern coast and out final castle, Saint Malo.
We took the ferry crossing from France to England, and once I was safely delivered back to my uncle in Brighton, Papa returned to the trip and went on to Portugal.
Most of the posts are being written from memory and the photos I was able to recover from the photo storage platform, Photobucket. During the trip I only kept a written journal and my camera.
